2019-05-28 · Moreover, the effects of long-term use of organic fertilizer on rhizosphere bacterial composition and heavy metals in tea gardens have not been carefully investigated. In this study, we have used ICP-MS and high-throughput sequencing technology to determine the effects of organic and chemical fertilizers on bacterial taxa and heavy metals content in the rhizosphere of tea orchards. The rhizosphere effect on most commonly found microorganisms viz. bacteria, actinomycetes, fungi, algae and protozoa is being discussed herewith in the following paragraphs.

The rhizosphere effect on most commonly found microorganisms viz. bacteria, actinomycetes, fungi, algae and protozoa is being discussed herewith in the following paragraphs. A. Bacteria: The greater rhizosphere effect is observed with bacteria (R: S values ranging from 10-20 or more) than with actinomycetes and fungi. A significant effect of RU47 on the Pseudomonas-specific gacA fingerprints of the rhizosphere was only observed in lettuce in alluvial soil. The soil type and plant species independent biocontrol effects of RU47 and its minor influence on the indigenous bacterial community composition might be important criteria for the registration and use of RU47 as biocontrol strain. Microorganisms colonizing the plant rhizosphere provide a number of beneficial functions for their host.

It could internal concentration of pollutant accumulated and/or related to a toxic effect. to roots, the rhizosphere, is therefore a zone of high microbial activity due to carbon containing substances released by the root.

Rhizosphere effect

The most important factors which affect / influence the microbial flora of the rhizosphere or rhizosphere effect are: soil type & its moisture, soil amendments, soil PH, proximity of root with soil, plant species, and age of plant and root exudates. One of the contributing factors to this uncertainty is the lack of understanding about the role of rhizosphere priming effect (RPE) in shaping the temperature sensitivity. Using a novel continuous 13 C‐labeling method, we investigated the temperature sensitivity of RPE and its impact on the temperature sensitivity of SOM decomposition.
